What does the Bible say about teaching children?
If we don't teach our children to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to, for “the whole world lies in wickedness” (1 John 5:19). ... Every Christian has the obligation to bring children to follow Christ. When teaching children, we should act according to the Lord's words instead of our own intentions..
God wants parents to teach their children about Him—to leave God's wisdom as an inheritance. God specifically commanded the Israelites to teach their children all He had done for them. He wanted the future generations to have the greatest inheritance
—godly wisdom!
